The Hieronim Ławniczak Regional Museum in Krotoszyn is a unique institution with over 60 years of tradition. Its mission is to protect and popularise the region's cultural heritage. Housed in a historic monastery building of the Trinity Fathers, it has rich collections that include more than 6,000 exhibits in archaeology, history, ethnography, and art. The museum's permanent exhibition consists of three thematic sections: "Krotoszyn from prehistory to the present day," "Folk culture of the Krotoszyn area (19th/20th century)," and an art gallery presenting the art of the region. These sections allow us to trace the fascinating history of the town and its surroundings and learn about the traditional culture and art of the area. In addition to its exhibition activities, the museum is active in educational and cultural activities, organising numerous events such as historical shows, re-enactment events, lectures and patriotic meetings. The institution also boasts a rich regional library and valuable publications published over the years. The following photo gallery presents selected exhibitions and events organised by the Hieronim Ławniczak Regional Museum in Krotoszyn. We invite you to take a virtual walk through our exhibitions and discover the cultural wealth of the Krotoszyn area.
